1. What we are — and what we are not

Day to Day Dementia provides peer support, companionship, and education only. We are not a medical, psychiatric, psychological, or crisis-care provider, and we are not a licensed healthcare facility. Nothing we publish or provide is medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a clinical recommendation.

Our materials are created to help family caregivers of people living with dementia feel less alone, better informed, and more supported. They are general in nature and are not tailored to any individual's medical situation.

2. No professional relationship

Using our website, joining our community, reading our content, or listening to our meditations does not create a doctor–patient, therapist–client, or any other professional or fiduciary relationship between you and Day to Day Dementia, LLC or anyone associated with it. Our team members, contributors, and guest contributors are not acting as your or your loved one's healthcare providers, even where they hold professional credentials.

3. Not a substitute for professional care

Our content is not a substitute for advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified professional who knows your or your loved one's specific situation. Always seek the guidance of a physician or other qualified health provider with any questions about a medical condition, medication, symptom, or care decision.

Never disregard, avoid, or delay seeking professional advice because of something you have read, heard, or experienced through Day to Day Dementia. If a professional's advice conflicts with anything in our materials, follow the professional.

4. Meditations & relaxation content

Our meditations and relaxation recordings are intended for general comfort, grounding, and stress relief. They are not therapy and are not a treatment for any medical, psychiatric, or cognitive condition. Do not listen while driving, operating machinery, or doing anything that requires your full attention. If a recording causes distress, discomfort, or any concerning physical or emotional response, stop and, if needed, consult a professional.

5. Screening tools & the Stage Finder

Any quizzes, checklists, stage guides, or observation tools we offer — including the Stage Finder and any caregiver observation materials — are educational and self-reflective only. They are not diagnostic tools and cannot diagnose, stage, or rule out dementia or any other condition. Results are general and may be inaccurate for a given person. Only a qualified clinician can evaluate, diagnose, and stage cognitive conditions.

6. In an emergency or crisis

If you or someone you love may be in danger, experiencing a medical emergency, or having thoughts of self-harm or suicide, call or text 988 (the U.S. Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911 or your local emergency number, or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. Day to Day Dementia is not staffed for emergencies and cannot provide crisis intervention.

7. No guarantee of results

Caregiving and dementia are highly individual. We make no representation or warranty that our content will produce any particular outcome, improve any condition, slow any decline, or reduce caregiver stress in any specific case. Individual experiences vary.

8. Third-party information

We may reference or link to third-party resources, research, organizations, or services for convenience. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, the accuracy or completeness of third-party information, and inclusion does not constitute medical endorsement.

9. Your responsibility

You are responsible for how you use our materials and for any decisions you or others make. To the fullest extent permitted by law, and as further described in our Terms of Service, Day to Day Dementia, LLC is not liable for any decision made, action taken, or outcome experienced in reliance on our content.
