Everything here is written for you, the caregiver. There is a separate part of the site written to the person you care for — and your membership opens it for them.
If they have the diagnosis, they're a member. They don't pay, they don't apply, and they don't have to prove it. Once you join, you'll get a link to pass on. They set up their own account and land in a space of their own — separate from this community, written in the second person instead of about them in the third.
You won't be able to read it, and that's the point. Half of what someone wants to say at this stage is something they would never say in front of the person caring for them. Nobody here can see that room, see who is in it, or read what is written there.

Do I need to buy the book too?
No. The membership stands on its own. Seven Stages of Dementia is a companion you can read alongside it, but it isn't required to get full value from your membership.
