Day to Day Match 3 — App Privacy Policy
The short version: Day to Day Match 3 collects nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, and no network code in the app at all. It never contacts our servers or anyone else's, because it has no way to. Everything the game remembers is written to your own device and stays there, and deleting the app deletes it.
That is why the App Store listing carries Apple's Data Not Collected label. The rest of this page says the same thing in more detail.

1. What the app collects
Nothing. We do not collect, receive, store, sell, share, or transmit any personal information from anyone who plays Day to Day Match 3. We do not know who you are, that you installed the app, or that you opened it.
This is not a promise about how carefully we handle your information. It is a statement that no information reaches us in the first place.
2. No account and no sign-in
The app has no account system. There is no sign-in screen, no registration, no email address to enter, no username, no profile, no leaderboard, and no way to create any of those things. You open the app and the board is there.
Nothing in the app is for sale. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no advertising, so there is no payment information and no advertising identifier involved either.
3. No network requests
The app contains no network code. It does not call our servers, and it does not call anyone else's. There are no analytics, no crash reporting, no attribution or advertising SDKs, and no third-party software development kits of any kind bundled into it.
An internal diagnostics log used during development wrote to the device only and never left it. It has been compiled out of release builds entirely, so it is not present in the version you can download.
4. What the game remembers, and where it lives
The game does remember a few things between sessions, so that it feels the same each time you come back to it. All of it is stored on your device, in the app's own storage:
- Your comfort setting — Full Bloom, Easy Breeze, or Open Sky.
- Your sound, music, and haptic preferences.
- Which piece set you are playing with.
- Your day count, the matches you have collected, and the special pieces you have earned.
None of that is synced to us, backed up to us, or visible to us. We have no copy of it and no way to obtain one. It does not travel between your own devices either — an iPhone and an iPad each keep their own separate count. If you restore a new phone from your own device backup, whatever that backup holds comes with it; that backup is between you and Apple, and we are not part of it.
5. Deleting your information
Deleting the app removes everything the game has stored, including the day count. There is no server-side copy to delete afterward, because there was never a server-side copy at all.
6. Children and the 4+ rating
Day to Day Match 3 is rated 4+ and may be used by anyone, at any age. That rating is deliberate. The whole premise of the game is that a person can hand the phone to someone else, and there is no reason a child cannot play it.
Because the app has no account, collects nothing, and transmits nothing, no personal information is collected from a player of any age. There is nothing for a parent or guardian to consent to, review, or ask us to delete, and no data collection to which COPPA or similar children's privacy laws would attach.
7. Your privacy rights
Laws such as the GDPR in the EU and UK, and the CCPA/CPRA in California, give you rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the personal information a company holds about you, and to opt out of its sale or sharing.
We hold no personal information about app users, so there is nothing on our side for those rights to reach. We are not able to look up a player, produce a record, or delete an account, because none of those exist. If you have used our website or joined our email list, those rights do apply to that information, and Section 8 of the website Privacy Policy explains how to exercise them.
8. Leaving the app for our website
The app has one link that leads out of it: a link on the About screen to daytodaydementia.com. It opens in your device's browser. From that point you are on our website, and the website Privacy Policy applies — including its disclosures about cookies and Google Analytics, which are website features and are not part of the app. The page you are reading right now is itself a page of that website.
9. Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. If a future version of the app were ever to collect anything, we would say so here and in the App Store listing before it shipped.
