1. Day to Day Match 3
Day to Day Match 3 is a free match-three game for iPhone and iPad. No lives, no timers, no ads, no purchases, no account, and no way to lose. More about the game.
The game is too hard, or the pieces are too small
Open the comfort setting and change it. One control changes the colors, the piece size, and how forgiving the board is, all at once:
- Full Bloom — the whole garden, all five colors.
- Easy Breeze — a calmer board with more room to breathe.
- Open Sky — three colors, the biggest pieces, and shapes as well as colors, so the pieces can be told apart without relying on color vision.
You can change it at any time, in either direction, and nothing is lost by doing it.
The board has no moves left
It reshuffles itself. There is nothing to do and nothing has gone wrong. There is no game-over screen in the app at all.
I want to turn off the sound, the music, or the vibration
All three are in the settings, one tap from the board. Turning the music on quiets the sound effects, because the music is generated from your own matches as you play.
Did I lose my progress?
Nothing expires and nothing resets overnight. The day counter only ever goes up.
Your progress is kept on your device, not in an account. If you set up a new iPhone from a backup, it comes with you. It does not sync between devices, so an iPhone and an iPad each keep their own day count — and if you delete the app or lose the phone without a backup, the count starts again.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. There is no paid version, nothing is sold inside the app, and nothing is unlocked by paying.
What does the game collect about me?
Nothing. No account, no sign-in, no network requests, no analytics. It carries Apple's Data Not Collected privacy label. Nothing you do in the game leaves the device, and there is nothing for us to delete on request because there is nothing on our side to begin with. The game is rated 4+ and can be used by anyone. See the app privacy policy.
Something is broken
Email me at anthony@daytodaydementia.com with the device (iPhone or iPad), the iOS version if you know it, and what was on screen when it happened. Screenshots help. I built the app myself, so the report reaches the person who can fix it.
Is it on Android or Mac?
Day to Day Match 3 is an iPhone and iPad app. There is no Android version. A Mac version is coming later.
2. The site, the membership, and email
Membership, billing, and refunds
See the pricing page and the refund policy. For anything about your own account or payment, email me directly rather than posting in the community.
Email and unsubscribing
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and it works immediately. If it doesn't, email me and I'll remove you by hand.
The community
Our community guidelines cover what is expected in the member spaces and how to report something. If a member post worries you, report it rather than replying — it reaches me faster.
Printables and downloads that won't open
Everything on the printables page is a standard PDF. If one won't open or won't print, tell me which one and I'll send it to you another way.
3. Accessibility
If something on this site or in the game is hard to use — text too small, contrast too low, a control you can't reach with a screen reader — that's a fault worth reporting and I want to hear about it. Our accessibility statement says where we stand and how to tell us.
4. What this page can't help with
Day to Day Dementia provides peer support and education. We cannot give medical, legal, or financial advice, we cannot tell you whether a symptom is serious, and we are not a crisis service. For medical questions, ask the treating clinician. If you or someone you love may be in danger, call or text 988 or your local emergency number, or go to the nearest emergency room.
Day to Day Match 3 is a game and nothing more. It is not a treatment, a therapy, or a test, and it makes no claim to affect memory, cognition, or the course of any illness.
